Famous for being a semifinalist on “America’s Got Talent,” comedian Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh passed away at the age of 39. The comedian, who was originally from Fremont, California, was apparently in San Francisco when he passed away.

His fiancée stated that he passed away on Wednesday, December 4, according to People.

Although the precise cause of Kabir’s passing has not yet been disclosed, TMZ cited sources indicating that the comedian suffered from health problems. Authorities suspect natural causes for his death, according to TMZ, but the investigation is ongoing and a toxicology report is still awaited.

Kabir Kabeezy Singh was who?

According to reports, Kabir Kabeezy Singh was born to Indian parents in Portland.

In 2014, he made his Comedy Central debut, through launching his career in stand-up comedy. In that same year, he also won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition.

The comedian then made an appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2021, and in Season 16, he made it to the semifinals.

He had made it to the talent contest thanks to his jokes about his mother and his Indian heritage. Judge Howie Mandel at the time described him as “magnetic” and “relatable,” and he assured Kabir that “America is going to love you.”

America Got Talent bemoaned the death of the ‘talented comedian’ and also added, “his incredible talent will be missed”.

He also wrote in the post on X.

“The AGT family is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Kabir Singh, a talented comedian who graced our stage with his undeniable humor. He brought joy and laughter to so many and his incredible talent will be missed,”.

Kabir also appeared on Family Guy and the BBC, according to his Instagram bio. According to his Instagram account, he was doing stand-up comedy until November, which was only a month before he died.
