In response to the notion of 150-year-olds getting Social Security, Elon Musk jokes that they would either be really famous or dead.

Elon Musk reacts to the idea that Social Security is now being paid to those beyond 150. Living beyond 150 is beyond the typical lifespan of humans, even though the US government’s Social Security program is designed for the elderly and crippled.

Elon Musk clearly said in the video

“Anyone who is 150 years old and still receiving Social Security should be in the Guinness Book of World Records, or either dead, in my opinion,”

Simply putting the facts on the table, Musk also added that it is nearly unthinkable to live above 150 and that anyone who did would be an anomaly.

In the United States, the Social Security program protects against income loss from retirement, death, and disability. The Old-Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI) and Disability Insurance (DI) Trust Funds handle the program’s all types of financial operations.

“There are 150-year-olds receiving Social Security.

    Let that sink in…

Elon Musk said “I think they’re probably dead, is my guess, or they should be very famous, one of the two.” tweeted Benny Johnson

President Donald Trump has worked to drastically restructure the US government since he took office on January 20. In addition to cutting the budget, they plan to drastically reduce the civil service, which currently employs 2.3 million people.

He deputized the billionaire Elon Musk to the head a “Department of Government Efficiency” that is also combing through the payment and personnel records.

Trump also told reporters on Tuesday that their effort could cut $1 trillion from the federal budget. This will go to totaling $6.75 trillion in the recent fiscal year.
