This shocking incident took place when the accused asked two of his classmates to show him the answers sheet. But two refused and he became angry over the refusal. The accused confronted the two outside of the exam center and threatened them.
The class 10 student opened fire at his two classmates for refusing to share the answers with him during the board examination. He left the palace by killing one and injuring another. This incident happened in Bihar’s Rohtas district when two students were returning home on an autorickshaw after the class 10 social science board examination. The decreased student\s name is Amit Kumar.
The accused class 10 student is detained and police recovered a countrymade pistol from him.
The incident occurred around 5:15 pm on Thursday, February 20. The class 10 students belong to Bihar’s Rohtas and they sat for the Sanskirit board examination. During the examination accused two of his classmate and showed him their answer sheets. These two classmates refused and were angry over the refusal. The accused confronted two outside the examination center and threatened them. The accused followed them with his friends and then forcefully stopped their autorickshaw. During the scuffle, the accused opened fire at the two injuring both.
A police official also stated.
“One of the students received a bullet injury in the leg and another in the back,”.
They were also taken to a nearby hospital and later on moved to the Narayan Medical College and Hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries. Another student is also said to be out of danger.
Rohtas Superintendent of Police (SP) Raushan Kumar stated IE.
“Further investigations are ongoing to determine if any other individuals were involved in the incident. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to track the activities of the accused and his associates, if any,”.
After the shooting victim’s family and local villagers start to protest, demanding justice and blocking the highway.
A police officer said to PTI
“The deceased student’s family and villagers attempted to block the highway, but after assurances of swift action, they agreed to conduct the final rites,”.
