Trump finishes up the legal battle over the Twitter banning

President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the company once known as Twitter appears to be over. Trump sued the social media platform for denying him in the aftermath of January 6, 2021. When Trump’s supporters stormed the US capital the federal judge dismissed the suit in 2022. Hence the former president’s lawyers continued to appeal.

Right after the judge’s ruling Elon Musk has never become a key Trump ally. They acquired Twitter and reinstated Trump’s account. Facebook and the other platforms were subsequently reinstated. Although he still does most of his social media postings on the Truth Social which is owned by Trump’s media and technology group.

A court filing says that all parties are asking the court to dismiss the case. Even the filing does not offer any of the details about the agreement between Trump and X. This is also possible excepting to say both sides will going to bear their own costs.

In January, Meta also agreed to pay $25 million and settle a similar lawsuit over Trump’s ban from Instagram and Facebook.
